Ushering in The Year of the Dragon - A Chinese New Year Celebration - 9th February 2024

🧨Dong Dong Dong Qiang! 🐉🐲 What a joyous Chinese New Year celebration we had at CCKSS this morning to usher in the Year of the Dragon!

PSG members were invited to the celebration and attended the mass lou-hei with teachers and students.

What a spectacular sight to see all the students, teachers and staffs of CCKSS all gathered in the school hall ready to toss the "Yu Sheng"!

Another nice group photo of SAC Chairman Mr. Chng Hak-Peng (in the back), school leaders, Mr Cheng, Mdm Hartati, Mdm Lee and Mr Neo, together with members of the PSG and our lovely teachers! Everyone also got to enjoy the impressive performances by invited performers, students, graduates and even teachers!

Students were awed by the traditional Chinese art of face changing (变脸)!

A powerful and spectacular wushu performance by our CCKsians. Really impressive!

What is a concert without a energetic performance by the modern dance group! Awesome! They were even featured on the local news!

Of course, the Dragon dancers, appropriately so since it is the Year of the Dragon after all!

As the last notes echoed, a cascade of confetti filled the air, showering the students in a celebratory finale. It was a truly magical moment, capping off another unforgettable concert.
